これは砂糖車でございます。昔はこれで砂糖きびの汁を絞って、それを煮詰めて黒砂糖を製造いたしました。

English

This is a “sugar press”. In the past, they were used to squeeze the juice from sugarcane, which was then boiled down to produce unrefined sugar (kurozatō, lit. “black sugar”).
